These are fictional magazine covers from Blade Runner. They were created by production illustrator Tom Southwell in 1980-1981 and appeared in the background on a magazine stand in the city streets. (!!!!)

Most of the sites listed have been covered in this blog. They missed a few like Amoozoo (United States of Tara), MyFace (One Life to Live) and WeTube.biz (Raising Hope). Next, time bring me in as a consultant/fact-checker, okay, NY Mag?

Plenty of soaps are made with natural ingredients. Usually what that means is that they’re made of ground-up flowers and tropical fruits. If you’re going to shower, be a man about it. Introducing the only soap made with electrolytes, caffeine, and punching. Don’t waste your time with anything less. You’re welcome.

Jabot Cosmetics has been a bustling concern for years, even though the average person has been unable to sample its wares or buy any of its products. That’s changing, however, as Jabot (rhymes with “merlot”), a fictional marketer that exists solely in the storylines of CBS’s long-running “Young & the Restless,” turns actual marketer and takes on the likes of L’Oreal and Maybelline. Starting this month, Jabot products will be real and available for purchase, while also appearing during “Young & the Restless” to bolster storylines.

The struggles of fictional paper company Dunder Mifflin to compete with real-life office-supply chains like Staples Inc. are a running joke on NBC’s “The Office.” Now, an online outlet owned by Staples is using the Dunder Mifflin name to try to sell more copy paper.
Staples’ Quill.com has struck a licensing deal with NBC’s parent company to launch a Dunder Mifflin brand. Priced largely above private-label copy paper, the Dunder Mifflin packages will be emblazoned with slogans such as “Our motto is, ‘Quabity First’ ” and “Get Your Scrant on,” well-known phrases from the comedy series.

$8.99 a box. Why did it take so long for this to happen? (Or maybe these have been available for longer than I realize?) Anyway: Super.
We tried Ghostbusters. The kids declared it “Epic,” with a standout performance by the “Big Marshmallow Guy.”
